In 2019 OVPA held the ultimate yard sale to raise funds towards preservation projects. OVPA members and others in the community donated items for sale. They volunteered to host tables of items in their yards and participated as shoppers. The sale raised nearly $7,000 towards the 2020 Historic Preservation Window Replacement Window Project for the Omena U.S. Post Office.
